The Research scholars will be the body of the scholarly pool. The project will endeavour to provide a platform to facilitate and support ongoing research/s through the research scholars.
- Naghma Siddiqi is the principal investigator and a research scholar of the project. She has obtained her masters degree in Islamic Studies from the Department of Islamic Studies, Jamia Millia Islamia. She is presently pursuing her doctorate degree from the Department of Islamic Studies, Jamia Hamdard, New Delhi on The Role of Islam in Establishing Peace in the Contemporary World and has experience in the field of multimedia.
- Sadia Khan is a research scholar on the project. She has qualified JRF/NET in 2011 and is in the process of commencing her doctoral research. She has obtained her masters degree in Islamic Studies from the Department of Islamic Studies, Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi. She is the sub-editor of the Spiritual Message, a monthly periodical of Islam, since 2010; is the author of My first ABC from the Quran; and is a regular contributor of Islamic articles to newspapers. She has also worked on a Spirituality documentary for which she has interviewed President Abdul Kalam, Dr Karan Singh, Sir Mark Tully, the Bishop of Kingston, the Rt. Rev. Richard Cheetham, Astronaut Charles Duke Jr. and Sri Sri Ravi Shankar.
The project aims to invite other research scholars to come on board from time-to-time with the aim of providing support for the ongoing research/ and for nurturing the Islamic scholars of tomorrow.
